Mohomed Muzzamil’s statement that he discussed with me is an absolute falsehood – Ranil Wickremesinghe

Opposition and UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe categorically stated that the utterance of Mohomed Muzzammil of the National Freedom Front (NFF) that he had discussions with him is a blatant lie.

Issuing a communiqué , the Opposition leader said , it is a pity that the Mahinda Rajapakse Govt. has to stoop to this base level using unscrupulous  lackeys and cronies to utter such falsehoods . By these false dramas and lies the President is bringing disgrace not only on himself but also on the country.

Muzzammil by  also implicating others in his false allegations has voluntarily walked  into trouble . Malik Samarawickrema whose name was also mentioned in Muzammil’s bogus fairy tale , has through his Lawyers forwarded a letter of demand as a preliminary step before  filing  legal action proper against Muzzammil .
